For more than 50 years, SIUT has provided the finest healthcare to millions of patients without discrimination, free of cost with respect and dignity based on Dr. Adib Rizvi’s vision: “We cannot let them die if they cannot afford to live" Since its inception in 1972 as an eight-bed hospital, SIUT has grown by leaps and bounds to become a comprehensive healthcare system with 72 departments and 2,653 employees. SIUT North America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 2000 with a mission to support humanitarian and health causes, with a particular emphasis on assisting SIUT Pakistan through the grant-based provision of medicine and equipment. Over the past four years, the diaspora has played a pivotal role in the success of these grants, which have awarded approximately $15 million to SIUT Pakistan.
